While these would make for a perfect gift under the Christmas tree, we’ll have to wait until February 2014 for Korg’s take on the toy piano.

Korg tinyPIANO will be released in different colours (black, red, white and pink) and will feature 25 built-in sounds such as a classic grand piano, electric piano, clavinet, organ and bell. You’ll also find the classic toy box and toy piano sounds in the tinyPIANO, although in tune.

Besides just having your kids smash the keys into avant-garde compositions, the tinyPIANO also offers 50 built-in demo songs for you to listen to.

You can power the tinyPIANO for around 15 hours with 6 AA batteries or just connect an AC adapter. Unfortunately for dad, there’s only a headphone out to take the sounds into his DAW.

Never the less, this looks like the perfect toy piano for your little ones. From the demos it seems like this is is a professional take on a classic children’s musical instrument. We’ve very curious for the price which is yet to be announced.
