The announced 1.1 version of Fugue can now be downloaded from the App Store. Meanwhile, version 1.2 is already submitted to Apple. Sequential, the effect sequencer by Sinevibes came out last week on the iPad. The app provides a intuitive and fast way to create interesting variations of sample loops. With support for AudioCopy you can paste in audio from any supported app into Sequential. More competition for the likes of iMPC and Beatmaker 2, as UVI is working hard on its iOS debut with their MPC-inspired UVI BeatHawk app. The UVI developers were at NAMM where Sounds and Gear shot the video below. The app seems to feature a signature UVI soundset as well as a smart way of handling patterns and song building. The release of BeatHawk is said to be in a few months as there is still a lot of functionality to implement.
